Challenge #5


Big news: I COOKED CHICKEN.

Pad Thai
I made pad thai for my first time. Some may consider it cheating because I used the packaged sauce, but I said from the beginning I was a little bit ghetto. Plus - I COOKED CHICKEN. I have to say - it is one of the best things I've ever made. I love it.

Chicken Breasts $5.02
Peanuts $2.49
Rice Noodles $3.49
Pad Thai Sauce $2.69
Bean Sprouts $1.49
Limes $0.50

Sub-total: $15.68
HST: $2.04
Total: $17.72

YAY for you...maybe not YAY for chickens everywhere! Let you in on a little secret? Even I use the Pad Thai envelope of seasoning when I make it. Tried to do the sauce from scratch a couple of times, it tastes like donkey balls. Use the stuff in the jar!

MY FAVORITE. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. I could live off peanut sauce and Thai noodles.
